Biography

Karen Cocks is a local artist living on the Mornington Peninsula and has been painting on a part time basis since 1998. Her style of painting is pointilism inspired by the Philippines Traditional Body Tattoo "Lumad". She also loves to create images by carving limestone tiles.
Karen’s art has been influenced by growing up in the seaside village of Tandag in the Philippines. She has acquired a love of marine life and the natural beauty of the seaside. This is evidenced by her unique style and her use of bright, vibrant colours
